About Us

Although Siberian Huskies were not the first breed of dog i have owned, they are the one's that i am passionate about and they are the only one's that i know i will have for the rest of my life.

The WELLDALECOTE affix came into existence back in the 50's through my grandfather James Fell.  He owned, showed and bred Shetland sheep dogs and Rough Collies right up until the 70's.  Throughout my growing life my family have always owed Shelties but it was not until i was 15 years old that i solely owned my first dog, a rough collie called Lassie and later an alsation call Major.

In 2005 i bought my first Siberian Husky and now we have seven.  Litter sisters Kia and Rogue bred by Martin Hogg from Snopheonix, Falcor bred by Malinda Thomas from Shimani, Lara from Alice Forrest's lines, Tehocan and Tanaraq bred by myself and our newest eddition Minnie bred by Callum Paterson.

I love both showing and working the dogs although running the dogs and rallying takes priority, this is the area my son Conner assists with and also loves. We mostly compete at the SSHC rallies but in January 2010 we tried out the SHC of GB Aviemore rally and really enjoyed ourselves, so i think we will be going further afield every year to compete.
